Healthcare Delivery

LifeCare Clinic

In 2002, ACCESS opened its doors by offering free medical consultation, treatment and referral for individuals with HIV/AIDS. Today, LifeCare Clinic continues to offer basic medical treatment and consultation for the Nakaseke community. LifeCare clinic sees thousands of patients each year, and actively participates in community outreach to bring health to the community.

We are a walk-in clinic offering affordable treatment to those in need. We proudly offer free healthcare for our sponsored Orphans and Vulnerable Children and their families. We have a basic lab, 2 consultation rooms, 6 hospital beds, a pharmacy, a minor procedure center, and medical library. LifeCare is run by our Clinical Officer, Sewanyana James.

Community Health Workers

LifeCare clinic also works with 18 community health workers (CHW) who identify high risk individual in the community. The CHWs refer community members to our clinic, preform home assessments, provide health education and advocate for members of the community.

Annual Health Day

We hold an Annual Health Day at LifeCare Clinic that offers free immunization, consultation and public health education to the Nakaseke Community. This is our busiest day at ACCESS with more than 1,000 people in Nakaseke District coming to participate in the events!
